tomorrow isn’t promised. Don’t be a burden to your loved ones if anything happens, be a blessing instead
What are 3 things people may not know about you?
1) I used to play cricket!
2) If you haven’t met me in person, you won’t know that I’m quite tall.
3) I can’t speak Yoruba and that is quite embarrassing.
What motivated / inspired you to start talking about personal finance online?
More information was needed. I want people to feel financially empowered and that only comes with knowledge.
What is the one piece of advice that you’d give to people just realising that they need to get their finances in order?
That tomorrow isn’t promised. Don’t be a burden to your loved ones if anything happens, be a blessing instead.
Do you have any mentors or people that you follow that have influenced you to be financially educated?
My oldest brother who always did the smart thing instead of the fast thing.
What do you hope to accomplish by speaking about money online?
That people have less debt and more investments, especially women!
If you were given £500k, what would you do with it?
I’d invest into property, businesses and the stock market. I’d be asset rich and cash poor so please believe I’m still not picking up the bill!
